Robert Lapinski, D.M.D. - Retired  

Dr. Lapinski graduated from Ohio State University in 1967, majoring in pre-med and he was also in advanced ROTC.

After graduation he went to The New Jersey College of Medicine and Dentistry which was then in Jersey City. Upon graduation in 1971 he received the Academy of General Dentistry award. After graduation he entered into active duty in the Army Dental Corps as a Captain during the Vietnam war from 1971-1973.

He was a clinical instructor at UMDNJ from 2000-2006. While at the school he did research and wrote an article on Anterior Implant Esthetics which was published in the New Jersey Dental Magazine.

His practice is in Hillsborough, NewJersey and when his daughter Dr. Lauren Lapinski graduated from UMDNJ she starting working as a dentist in his office.

His daughter Paige is an elementary school teacher in Hillsborough.

His wife was a Dental Hygienist and met at the 1970 New York Dental Convention at the Statler Hilton and they have been together ever since.

At the end of 2019 he sold his practice to Hillsborough Smiles and is now working there part time.
